LED Glitching

My LED displays (Two Original Prusa I3 Mark 2 or 2.5 printers) are both glitching. In both cases it occurred in the middle of a print, latest as I wiped dust off the screen. I have powered them down, refreshed the firmware, removed the housings, tried replacing one of the LED panel with spares (these panels are slightly different than my originals, saying "RepRapDiscount" on the back, and neither of them lights up when I power up the printer.)

I would really like to know what my next steps are. I use my printers all the time and I thought it was bad when I went down to one printer!

RE: LED Glitching

Make sure the polarising hoods are on, in the same orientation for the prusa display assemble and the reprap one.

If I recall correctly, some rep rap ones are different to the Prusa ones. and give exactly the problem you mention.

IIRC the stripe on the prusa cable goes to pin 10 on the display connector, not the usual pin1
