extr. fan error after new card and firmware update

I just put a new rambo card in a mk2 i3 printer and it asks for a firmware update.

after doing so I get a extr. fan error, I tried a different fan and it did the same, 9 side hot end fan)
I used the mk2.5s firmware the first time and checked that i had the right one, i found one for the mk2 i3 and used it and the error went away but now it asks for the 3.9.3 firmware.

this is the card i put into a mk2 i3 (no removable bed sheet)

Do I have the wrong card or something?

The fan wire only has two wires, do the newer printers have an extra wire for speed sensing?

RE: extr. fan error after new card and firmware update

Hi Bill,
the card identified is the Original RAMBO Card as used for Mk1, Mk2, Mk2S, Mk2.5 printers
the Mk2 printer has a small (30mm?) two wire fan on the left of the extruder, and a two wire turbofan on the front of the extruder
it also has an original 3 wire Pinda (Not SupaPinda, and not 4 Wire Pinda2)
the heater is 12 volts and it uses a Mk42 Heatbed.

and the Prusa Slicer needs to have the Mk2S printer profile chosen.

regards Joan
