Bed levelling
Hi I am at a loss, I have had my Prusa Mk2 since they got released and have learnt to hate them with a passion. My current problem is one of them had to have the PEI sheet changed - so I removed the bed and changed over the PEI - put the bed on the printer and now the bed is apparently higher on the left side than the right side. The bed leveling system doesn't work this out, not that this system has ever been any good. I have tried adjusting the bed on the left side but the max 50 micron is not enough to fix this. other than a sledge hammer is there anything else I can try.?
Forgot to mention I then changed over to a spare heat bed and got the same effect so definitely not the bed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Re: Bed levelling
I guess start with the basics - check the y-axis threaded rods are fully seated into the z-axis frame. If that is not the solution, slacken off the four bed screws and when you tighten them up again stop a quarter of a turn after you feel the first resistance. Still not right? Find the hyperfine bed levelling thread and follow the guidance there - or add washer(s) to the low corner(s) to bring them within tolerance.
If the hate gets too much, donate your printer(s) to Pillars of God Academy. We will put them to good use. <joke>
cheers,
