At that time it stated "Please Allow 2 Weeks for Shipment".
Now 4 1/2 weeks later, still no shipment.
I've sent a message at weeks 2, 3 and 4 and basically got a "shipping soon", a "shipping late this week/early next week" and some erroneous reply about ordering a textured steel bed delaying it (which is clearly in error because that's not an MK2/s option).
Earlier this week they changed the "please allow 2 weeks" note to "please allow 1 month" which is cool for people just placing their orders except they've already EXCEEDED one month for mine (as well as others clearly).

I agree it's a great device and the right choice but I'm definitely shaking my head a bit over what is happening over there. I'd like a real answer about WHEN they will actually ship and why it's taking so long. The closest thing I got to a reason was a comment about a "problem with the packing of the MK2S and the shippings have been delayed".

between sick employees, shortage of materials, and increase demand. Sadly Prusa's production is has not been able to match demand.

I ordered my mk2s on April 13, and have been waiting over week 4 going 5 but said 2 week delay when I ordered.

Still looking forward to the arrival my printer and believe i made the right choice picking prusa. From what I've read, Prusa Research is doing way better with shipping times since upgrading facilities and increasing staff members. And IMO Everything looks amazing, is of great quality and is packaged really well. Decent interview, but the one thing that stuck out to me was the fact that they are shipping 5,500 to 6000 MK2S's a month. That would be 250-300 machines a day! And for any given shipping day we have one, maybe two people in this thread. That is pretty remarkable.

I'm glad the times have come down, it was very frustrating being on the other side of the hump, as times climbed to more then predicted instead of less. I am quite new to this and was surprised because I expected the machine to arrive in late September .... :o
BUT ... now it will probably arrive tomorrow according to the information from UPS.
So, ordered on August 3rd and shipped on August 8th it will probably arrive August 11 after only three days of shipping, I am quite excited. The obviously have speed up things a lot.

The fun part, I ordered a very inexpensive Anet a8 three days ago to play some with 3D printing expecting the MK3 coming in late September, now the Anet will be later than the Prusa MK3 and I have one 3D printer too much :roll: :D
