Broken heatbed?
Hi!
By some freak accident (I'm still not sure what happened), my i3 MK2 fell of the surface it was positioned on. After some fixing and patching I got it printing again, but the quality seems to have suffered somewhat. I decided to take a picture of the heatbed with my thermal camera and this is the result:
To my layman eyes, this looks broken. Am I right? Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Sebastiaan

RE: Broken heatbed?
that picture is meaningless without a scale. What is red and what is blue? 50/48? 60/25?
RE: Broken heatbed?
@vintagepc
If you click on the image, it will display the complete image with a scale on the left (white 53 degrees Celsius, black 25). The heatbed was set to 55 degrees.
RE: Broken heatbed?
Ugh, my bad. Forum scaling/cropping strikes again... :-/

Temperature fluctuations between 5 and 10 degrees are nothing unusual. I would continue to use the bed. If there are any problems with adhesion, I would replace the bed.
