How to place a magnetic bed over the original bed of the I3 MK2S printer?

Hello more experienced Prusa users, I would like information and tips on the simplest way to place an adhesive plate over the original bed of the Prusa I3 MK2S to transform the bed into a magnetic one. I recently bought a PEI plate but haven't been able to use it yet because my bed isn't magnetic. Thank you in advance. If you could suggest options for magnetic plates and send purchase links, I would also appreciate it.

RE: How to place a magnetic bed over the original bed of the I3 MK2S printer?

My Zaribo has an aluminium heat bed with a self adhesive magnetic mat over it, and that holds a spring steel build plate in place, however on a Prusa Mk2S the magnetic sheet would prevent XYZ calibration working...

I fitted a 12 volt MK42 build plate to my Mk2 and that holds the removable build plate fine... BUT  this again, stops XYZ calibration working.

If you can gather the rest of the parts for a Mk2.5S or Mk2.5S+ Upgrade, the Mk2.5 firmware will resolve the issue with XYZ Calibration...

I Have been using Mk Mk2 withMMU1 for years, without needing to do XYZ calibration...

MMU1 firmware is not compatible with Mk2.5 firmware. which is why I have never changed the firmware.

It is possible to revise the firmware to use the new calibration spot locations, but I have never had the urge to try...

regards Joan
