Bad display

I have a bad display. It is displaying gibberish - dashes, vertical lines, etc. I checked the cables and they are fine. I re-seated them anyway and it made no difference. There's also a circular blob in the upper left corner of the LCD. Mine was an assembled unit.

I received my assembled MK2 last June but never got around to using it until Sunday. I updated the firmware and re calibrated. I printed the batman logo as I adjusted the Z height. Everything was fine at that point. Then towards the end of a second print the display went crazy with horizontal and vertical lines and solid blocks.

BTW, my printer was missing the manual and also didn't have the 3D printed shipping supports I saw in an unboxing video. If there was supposed to be a CD of drivers and software, there wasn't one. But I downloaded the manual, drivers, and software from the site instead.

I'm stuck without the display.

Re: Bad display

This is what the display looks like. Can someone help? Do I need a replacement LCD? Or the circuit board under the LCD?
