Issues with Marvin

Hi, I'm new to 3D printing and I finally moved from MK2S calibration to actual printing. The whistle I tried first appeared just fine to my unqualified eye but I had some issues with the Marvin figure. It's mostly the spots with overhanging edges that suffer from stringing and distortion.

Is it a problem with calibration or parameters like temperature/speed..? I'm using a PLA 1.75mm string that came with the printer.

Thank you.

Add the image(s) in line and you might get better response. Not everybody is willing to click disguised links in this age of spammers, hackers and downright malicious people. I know I am never going to click any goo.gle or imgur links.

Thanks for tip. If someone has a "dangerous link" paranoia then getting a proper operating system/browser might do the trick.

Re: Issues with Marvin

Hmmm - is that printed straight from the supplied SD card? Or did you slice it yourself?

If it's straight from the SD and using the free spool of silver PLA then temperature, speed and layer sizes should all be optimal and likely your problem is very slight over-extrusion. Run again but drop flow to 98 in the tune menu and see how it comes out.

Aside: you don't recommend spyware Chr0me do you? 🙂
