Forget Z position?

Hello!

My old Printer has now a problem an it forget after kalibration the Z-position?

Kalibration is ok ,then i turn printer off and on.  Z shows position 0,00 in the last high when it turns off?

And also in the display alter power on it writers "default settings loaded"

Cable looks good 🤔

RE: Forget Z position?

When you turn a prusa printer on, it has no idea what height the extruder is at, so for safety it assumes Z=0

it you home the printer it will use the Pinda to find the buildplate and reset Z...

If  there is a chance that the X axis has drooped on one side or the other, use the menu's to drive Z to the top of the frame  until it stalls both Z motors against the Ztop brackets (You may have to do this twice, depending on the Z start height.
this ensures that the X axis is parallel to the heat bed.
