End Stop Not Hit Motor X
Just finished assembling Prusa i3 MK2 and ran the self test routine from settings menu.
The LCD shows the messages that says
End Stop Not Hit
Motor X
I have checked the connections inside RAMBo and everything looks fine. Another person cross verified the connections and they look fine.
Has anybody faced this issue? How did they fix it? Any suggestions whats going wrong?
Re: End Stop Not Hit Motor X
Connect the printer to Pronterface and manually enter following gcode: M119
It will print out current endstop status. It should say "open" when it is not triggered and "TRIGGERED" when you push and hold the switch. Test both endswitches by hand and that gcode command.
If both switches work and are not swapped (X for Y), check if the extruder can reach the endstop switch when moved to very left side. You should hear the click and M119 should then return "TRIGGERED".
Re: End Stop Not Hit Motor X
You can also check the endstop status in the LED menu which may be easier than from within pronterface, especially if your computer is more than a metre away!

Re: End Stop Not Hit Motor X
The X end stop can sometimes not be reached due to the wires bundle hitting the Z frame first.
Can you check that the micro switch is actually being reached ? If not - persuade the wire bundle away from the Z frame a little.

Thanks for the advice, it was a faulty part.
Prusa very quickly sent me a replacement and its now working fine.
