XYZ Calibration fails after new pinda, recommended vendor
First let me say that I made the mistake of thinking I could build a mk2.5s clone cheaper than buying one because I had some spare parts from a reprap. I was wrong. I've spent more. So I can't expect help from Prusa on this, nor can I buy parts from Prusa's site.
I'm trying to figure out what is going wrong. The new pinda was working, then the machine started giving me Z cal issues every time I was printing higher than 10mm and Z calibration would never work. So I reset to factory (cleared eprom for good measure). Now I can't get a successful XYZ calibration as it fails on the 3rd calibration point every single time. Watching the streaming gcode, I can see that the pinda probe sees the point, but it still fails after getting towards the back and raising up. Like it's having an issue with the rear magnet in the bed. I tried taking the magnet out, but it is in there for good (I tried heating it with soldering iron, only managed to chip the ends). Is it a bad Pinda (too sensitive) or a bed that's gone bad?
Is there a recommended Pinda 2 vendor besides Prusa? I saw printed solid reviews were good, but also say it is sensitive. It feels like the one i have is already too sensitive. (bought mine from amazon vendor POLISI3D)
Thanks in advance!

You need version 2 for your MK2.5. Compatible replacement types are available at various retailer - M8, 5V DC, NPN, NC, Sn 2mm inductive sensor.

@karl-herbert
Thanks Karl. To be clear, the two pindas I have (one bad and possibly bad) are the correct version 2, 5v NPN NC. However I got further and resolved this issue, now the z calibration issue is back. I'll open a new post on that.
There are a few unanswered post here with the same XYZ issue having issues with the 3rd point. My solution was to factory reset then be sure to walk thru the complete setup wizard, not just the XYZ calibration.. I had to do this twice, the 2nd took.
