Test Line Before Print Coming out in a Zig Zag

Recently After I opened up the extruder to clear out some debris, my prints have stopped adhering to the bed. The first test line comes out like a as a zigzag instead of coming out smooth like it was before I had opened it. I have tried adjusting the tensioning on the screw that holds the feeder together, but I am still having the same issue. Any suggestions?

My printer just started doing the same thing. I had just done a cold pull on a piece of stuck filament. Did you ever figure out how to fix it?

Anyone else solve this? It just started for me, but I hadn’t done anything to the extruder.

That pattern is caused by the nozzle being too high
Have you changed the nozzle?
have you lowered the pinda?  lowering the pinda will effctively cause the nozzle to be higher...
Have you factory reset the printer Resetting the pinda will reset the LiveZ to 0.00 mm which will be too high
Have you had a Blob of doom (Ball of filament around the nozzle )  this can distort the extruder plastic parts and cause issues

Some people use a mk8  nozzle instead of the correct V6 nozzle  on the Mk8 is about 1.5mm shorter, which could give this problem. it's also likely to lead to leakage between the nozzle and the heat break... beware
