Anyone else having an issue with the thumbscrews vibrating loose after several prints and the nozzle dropping and scratching the bed?

Need some help with toroubleshooting

Prusa i3mk3 is giving me a thermal runaway error and it has melted the heat shroud twice already. I have replaced 2 thermistors already and I still get the same issues after doing 5 to 10 prints. Here are some pictures of what's going on and I dont know what else to do. So I have tried running the paid calibration , and it fails immediately since thermal runaway. I am using overture p p l a default settings in prusa slicer version 2.9.5. It has been frightening fine for the last 3 to 4 months.And this just started happening about a month ago.

Just got a core 1+ and have done several files and some of the demos that came with it. it seems that the files that came with the machine were sliced with very high speeds set which the machine seemed to handle but I don't see any of there fast setting files that the demos had. are there a set of preset settings that are available to take advantage of the machines speed. TIA.

Quick disconnect mounting plate

I bought a used Mk4s and enclosure and it didn’t come with the mounting plate where the quick disconnect attaches. I am gathering the pieces I need to move the psu to the outside of the enclosure. I can’t find it one the site. I don’t see where anyone made a printable version. Am I missing it somewhere on the site?

Did print fan speeds for PETG change?

I've been running the given SUNLU PETG filament configuration for weeks with no problem. I just did a PRUSA configuration update and now the print fan doesn't want to run correctly starting with the 4th layer. The fan looks like it starts to try to spin in fits and starts but then just shuts down. The print fan speed settings are 20% min and 40% max.

Fan check passes all its tests. Is it possible I have a fan going bad and it just doesn't want to run at 20%?

Bowden tube catches on nut on vent causing it to open and close head moves

One my core one+ the bowden tube catches on the nut on the vent slider as the head moves back and forth. So the vent will auto open but the tube will catch the nut and close it as the head moves to the right. Any documented fixes for this problem?

Probleme beim Druck eines Herzchens mit umlaufend abgerundeter Kontur ....

Hallo,
ich möchte ein "Miss Allie"-Herz drucken. Das Herz ist 9mm stark und hat eine umlaufende 3mm Abrundung.
Mein mögliches Problem ist nun, dass beim Druck durch die Rundung ja die "Kontur" zunächst quasi in der "Luft hängt"...
Ich hoffe ich ich habe mich verständlich ausgedrückt?
Das offensichtliche Problem ist nun, dass am Anfang der Druck "in höheren Schichten" quasi nicht der eigentlichen Kontur folgt und quasi
eine Art "Abkürzung" ( siehe Foto) nimmt. Das passiert bei einigen Durchgängen. Später ist das wieder OK.
Durch diese "Abkürzungen" entstehen nun an der Außenkannte eben unschöne Fehlstellen, aber eben auch nur
im Bereich der Herzspitze. An den Bögen oben am Herz ist das OK....? Ist das ein Problem der Geschwindigkeit?
Diese habe ich schon reduziert...?
Was könnte die Ursache sein? Was wäre die Abhilfe.....?

Greetings all, so just a quick rundown on things.

As mentioned before there is work in progress on the forums with updating it. When I have more info on what changes there will be I will update everyone but for right now I do not want to say because its all being tested and it could change to something else if things don't go well enough. I also have all the feedback from the forum members on different things nad while keep those in mind, I will do what I can about adding those requests into the updated forum.

There is a community hang out session tonight, May4th at 19:00 CET (13:00 EST / 10:00 PST) on our discord where community members can share their projects. Prusa Core One + Community Mod project.

The base and back are built and added some quality of life additions to it. I have an electrician getting one part set up for me and I need to order / make a insert press and then will work on the sides. When I can I will update the thread on the current update on that project and once it's done we can look at checking out some community mods to prusa slicer.

Moin zusammen,
ich möchte gerne ein Filmplakat in fünf Farben umwandeln und auf einer Ebene mit meinem XL mit 5 Tools drucken.
Probiert habe ich es schon mit HueForge und Litophane-Makern. Während der Entwickler von HueForge dringend Nachhilfe bei der Erstellung einer intuitiven Oberfläche braucht, können die anderen Programme meist nur je Farbe eine Ebene anbieten. Oder ich bin zu blöd die richtigen Einstellungen zu finden.

Mir schwebt als Wunschvorstellung ein Programm vor, mit dem man die vorhandenen Filamentfarben, die Anzahl der gleichzeitig druckbaren Farben und das Bild hinzufügen muss und einem eine Auswahl angeboten wird. Die Ausgaben am besten so, dass man es im Prusa Slicer nicht erst noch mal einfärben muss, also als 3mf.

Hat hier jemand schon Erfahrung und kann diese teilen?

Default temp 230?

Hi, just assembled Core One+, and by default it heats the extruder to 230C for default piece of PLA Prusament provided with the printer kit.

I checked the settings, and PLA is set to 215, why does it says 230 at the beginning of a print? Does it have to do with the default provided High-Flow nozzle?
