Is this compatible?
Hello everyone,
I'm in the process of refurbishing/repairing a MK2 that was upgraded to MK2.5s.
One of the parts I need to replace is the LCD panel. I'm trying to avoid shipping from Europe or ordering from the prusa3d.com site.
I checked printedsolid.com and found this LCD panel that is for the MK3 and was wondering if it is compatible with the 2.5s.

I don't have the EINSY board for the 3 so I understand that I won't be able to use the LCD brightness adjustment feature and that's OK as long as there is some light or brightness on the LCD.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan
RE: Is this compatible?
According to the Prusa web site, the display is the same between the M3/s/s+ and the Mk2/2.5/2.5s. So, assuming this is the same display Prusa uses or 100% compatible it should work. Now this on is more expensive than the genuine Prusa and I haven't checked shipping, but it may be a wash.

Further to that, the well-known Asian eBay has parts that look identical and probably are identical for $10 with free shipping. I haven't used one myself and maybe they're incompatible but I would personally risk it to potentially save $50.

I purchased a similar display off ali and it works.

RE: Is this compatible?
Thanks, everyone!
I went ahead and purchased the replacement part listed from printedsolid.
When looking at the part on prusa3d vs. printedsolid they are the same. It's just that prusa3d also indicates it's for the mk2.5s.
I should be good for now.
Thanks
