Can I upgrade PINDA2 first?
Hi Everyone,
I have a problem with my MK2S. I have run the bed leveling/ Calibrate Z thing several times and it fails over and over at the fourth point (It has been a while so I don't quite rembmer). Anyways I zeroed the machine and now the hotend runs into the bed when doing the first setup. I have googled around and apparently my original PINDA sensor may have gotten a pinched wire during first installation and is having issues. No worries I will just order the new 2.5 upgrade which comes with a new sensor. Well unfortunately I didn't see that I need to print a bunch of parts to do the upgrade.
Can I switch out the old PINDA sensor for the new PINDA2 sensor and print all the parts (after running all the original setup steps), and then finish the 2.5 upgrade? If I can't what are my options for getting the new parts printed so I can upgrade everything at the same time.
Thanks

I had a similar Problem with my MK2S! My Way to fix it, was to lower the Probe ( 1-2 turns to move nearer to the printbed). After that, calibration woked. The only change was that the live z adjust value changed!
