HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
So I just completed the disassembly. I'm now at the step for "Y axis correct bearing orientation". I look through all the bags and I didn't get any bearings???? Am I missing something? My old bearings have a rubber seal on both ends so they don't look anything like what's shown in the picture a "Y" in the end of the bearing. Am I missing something? HELP! I'm stuck!!!

hi Michael,
Just got my 2.5 kit.
no bearings in kit!, re use existing bearings
did you print your replacement plastic parts before demolishing your old print setup?

There is no such thing in the 2.5 upgrade KIT. do you mean MK3 upgrade Kit? either way, you already have bearings...

Re: HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
I have been reading the manual a lot (it passes the wait) and I dont recall anything about Y bearings?
What section is it in?
I imagine its just referring to making sure the balls are on top but thats in the full assembly IIRC not the 2.5 upgrade.
Re: HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
There is no bearings delivered in the Kit, old one for the x-axis is reused. You don have to remove them from the rods either.
Can you take a picture of the stage you are stuck at and attach it here?

Re: HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
Thanks everyone for all the comments. I am trying to install the I3 MK2 upgrade to i3 MK2.5!
Like other parts of the manual indicate, there are some steps for this particular that are unnecessary. I guess I didn't have to remove the bearings at all as I already had the U-bolts. If I would have read the upgrade assembly before tearing it apart, I would have known this and never had to bother taking it apart. UGH! OK, so I'll just be putting back the bearings and U-bolts I removed per the manual. I guess for others this would be a big benefit to READ THE MANUAL before beginning. I'll continue now.
Thanks again everyone!
Re: HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
are you sure you are not using the MK2 --> MK2S upgrade manual rather then the MK2/S -- > Mk2.5.
They may have sent the wrong manual!!!!

Re: HELP......Missing Parts in 2.5 upgrade kit???
Well, when I got back into the manual list, seems I chose the wrong manual yesterday. UGH! I was on the 2S manual and NOT the 2.5 manual. The wording is a bit misleading. So yes, I disassembled WAAAY to far. I didn't need to do all the work. Rats %#&$^*#*#(

Thanks for Paving the way Michael,
I am Dyslexic and could easily have done the same thing...
Now I will be Doubly Careful!
