Completed 2.5 upgrade

The PETG print of the extruder body was not dimensionally correct as to allow contact with the x-axis home switch. Had modify the body with a adjustment block shown in the attached pictures. Everything adjusted well and is the process of its third print. Especially like the filament auto-load feature. Well done Prusa, keep up the great work!

Have you done a xyz calibration since the upgrade? Is the PINDA sensor still able to reach the test points on the bed, with your modification?

Re: Completed 2.5 upgrade

I had the same issue. I just used a couple layers of black duct tape so I could adjust as needed. I can always print a spacer with correct thickness as needed. 😀 Prints beautiful.

I ended up having the same problem too. I solved it for now with just layering some tape so the switch will get triggered.

I used the prusa g-code and not slicing the stl myself.

I had the same issue. Turned out it was the cables not in the slot all the way on the extruder body. I unscrewed the noctua fan and was able to re position the wires better in the slot and put the fan back on and then it was triggering ok with no problems.

Re: Completed 2.5 upgrade

I also had the same issue - the arm is (just) too short to trip the microswitch

Corrected now, but re-running the XYZ calibration to make sure the 4 calibration points are not affected is a good idea.

Having said that the 9 point bed levelling check is working fine
