Bed level / Probing Issues
I've suddenly been experiencing some rather poor first layers on my Prusa XL. After probing, it starts like normal but typically ends up throwing a jammed filament error from the nozzle getting too close to the bed on the right side. The only thing I've been able to notice is that during bed probing, the right side has several spots where it stops and probes one point multiple times and that the right side of the bed does not seem to move down as far as the left side as it goes through the probing process. The screw does seem to be moving, just not enough to match the left screw. All other Z-axis movements seem to be normal and I've double checked that the bed is level on the screws. I've tried:
- Cleaning the bed
- Checking the level of the bed between the Z-screws
- Re-assembling the nozzle and heat-block to ensure a tight fit
- Re-running all calibrations
Live adjusting Z does not seem to be a viable option as any value that fixes these spots puts everywhere else too high. I've attached a short video showing the apparent difference in Z-axis movement during probing. Any ideas would be appreciated as I'm not sure what could be causing this.
