RE: XL Camera

Whether it has to do with an XL printer I doubt.

But after that I searched on Prusalink and camera I came straight here.

Maybe you can do something with it.

I don't have a usb c camera but I've ordered one.   I'll plug it in this week and see what happens.

RE: XL Camera

Plugging a camera into the usb c port on the back of the XL doesn't get you a camera like it does on the raspberry image of prusalink.   On the  prusalink printer web page not even an option for a camera.

RE: XL Camera

I use an old iPhone 5S i had in my drawer plus some 3d printed stuff to hold the iPhone. iPhones are known for good camera quality even the older ones and if you got a 5S or newer (needs to be able to run iOS 12.x for the prusa code to run inside safari) you re ready to go in 2 minutes, connect it to a powersource, strap it to the XL, open safari, scan the qr code on the prusa-connect website and voila every 30 sec you got a picture transmitted to prusa connect - its really simple.

I'll be giving this ESP32-CAM-based solution a go. I've ordered this module from AliExpress, will try it out when I get it. You can of course make your own case to suit your needs. Seems like a nice, compact self-contained solution.
