It would make sense from a Beta testing perspective to send out single and multi head versions, plus some single head one's with a separate set of heads to 'upgrade' too, to test whether the upgrade system works. I'm sure we'll find out soon how the testing went, remember people have got to give them a thorough going over, send the result back to Prusa, discuss the issues with the developers, make any changes that are needed, update them and retest... etc. It's not a case of the Beta Testers will get them and be done in 48 hours, good beta testing takes time.
As for future iterations, it is very rare any product is 100% perfect on sign off day, and new things are always being thought of so bare that in mind. Also if new types of tool head are developed they will probably be brought out as optional extras rather than upgrades per se.
Just remember the longer they spend perfecting it, the happier you'll be in the end.

From an external Beta Test perspective you are looking to shake down the entire widget from slicer to end product. While the tool change capability being important not every field test unit needs to be a tool changer configuration.

Unless someone comes up with some kind of Uber-flow resin, I don’t see anything beyond incremental changes in speed. A tweak in slicing here, larger nozzles to scale to bigger prints can only do so much

I imagine the NDA is pretty locked down. Kind of surprised they can even post any details.
44 hours for that seems... slow? Would be nice to know which exact model it was so I could try it with X1C to compare. Hopefully Prusa et. al. can improve on that and the beta is getting them good information for improvements. Maybe we'll see real shipments in a few months??

If I understand correctly, he did it at over .3 mm per layer also, so you would hope it would be faster. But it looks very nice so maybe he was printing thicker layers, but at a slower setting to get the quality or maybe to ensure the quality. It will be interesting to see how fast he could print it.
I guess a single head would still test majority of the components and the new geometry on printing. I still won’t accept a single head model with the promise of more later, not saying it has to have five, but it has to have at least three.

Absolutely agree.
If I understand correctly, he did it at over .3 mm per layer also, so you would hope it would be faster. But it looks very nice so maybe he was printing thicker layers, but at a slower setting to get the quality or maybe to ensure the quality. It will be interesting to see how fast he could print it.

Don’t think you can Reprint it with the X1C because the Modell is too big for the bambu… Wisch they had 30^3 instead of 25…

I'm unclear why you quoted me when I didn't say anything about an empty box or what configurations were all sent out. I simply pointed out that there's a fuzzy photo of this particular one in the background and can try to guess from that what this particular person has. Calm down.

No one fly in the photo. There is no reason to think that any of them can fly.
All printers pictured are single head only. There is no reason to think that printers with multiple heads are sent.

I thought I had seen a time lapse of multi material print, and some examples. There was a video of it swapping heads too.
I could respect the idea that the first ones out are single heads- there are enough things outside of multimaterial capability that they need to validate- but that implies that there might be a second round of Betas to go out with multi heads
