Nextruder questions

So, I understand that the Nextruder system works on a load cell attached to the cartridge and use the actual nozzle to do measurements?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
First take out and I presume that the cartridge needs to be pre heated because AFIAK, Load cells are very temperature sensitive. Also for metal expansion in the metal parts, including the nozzle.
Next, as it use the nozzle to measure, I take it the nozzle must be squeaky clean and not worn? Yes, good maintenance is good. But I'm also going to see  lot of problems about this from users. And if you got 5 swap-able heads, it could be 5 times the maintenance. Quite a bit of down time, I think.
Other issue, if I presume correctly that the nozzle must be heated, there is also a good change that some filaments that is loaded will leak while bed leveling and form blobs affecting accurate measurement?
On the MK3 with Pinda not really a problem. Or a slightly dirty nozzle.

RE: Nextruder questions

Preheat the nozzle is a good thing to prevent blob or piece of filament affect the measurement between bed and nozzle tip.

Regarding to temperature drift of the load cell, it does not matter, because you can measure just relative values and looking for a bigger step/change of the value, when the tip of nozzle hits the bed. It should be very sensitive, so it should be a very gentle touch/kiss of the bed.
