Rpi 5

I bought a pi 5 not even thinking it might not be compatible, learned my lesson. Is there any plans for making it compatible in the near future or is there a work around?

Yup, the 0.8.0 will support it, you can install the necessary updates manually. Update to bookworm and run rpi-update and your rpi5 should boot, no idea about the rest of the PrusaLink stuff surviving that tho, you'd probably be fixing something after the update. The far more comfortable option would be to flash the 0.8.0 image once it's available.

I believe there is no firmware ready, but you should be able to install prusalinkt directly on the host using pip and it should work?

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

I tried, I installed the prusalink on the microSD multiple times, let the pi sit connect to the printer for 15-30 minutes and it wouldn’t read it. I finally took a 4 that I have and tried it and it read it immediately. The 5 is over kill for what I use the 4 for. Hoping to swap them back soon.
