printing gcode projects from connect
OK SO GOT A QUESTION. if i upload a project gcode it goes to prusa link storage which i assume is the memory card in the zero but it also goes to the prusa connect storage (which increases size by 1gb per printer added which is great) .and what i wanted so there is a communal pool of project gcode that all printers can access. he reason i want this connect is to have one set of files that all printers access. when i go to the prusa connect storage i cant print from there , should i be able to ?
RE: printing gcode projects from connect
ok a little update so it seems you can print from the prusa connect storage space on the printer that uploaded it but not from any others which means the prusa connect storage space has zero use wondering if its a bug or somethings not right
RE: printing gcode projects from connect
Hi, the feature is not there yet, that should be a part of connect at some point, don't know when tho. Sorry
RE: printing gcode projects from connect
ok thanks for the update , this is quite a crucial part for me as the automation not so much an issue its neat and all be able to start a print from one location but i feel for myself and lot of users we want to get rid of all the sd card swoping. i have duplicates of project gcodes for every machine and when we update our gcodes it means adding them to every machines sd card/ link. i run 4 sd cards for each machine and run over 20 machines so thats 80 sd cards i have to keep updating every time i want to update the gcode if i have made a change or slicer has an improvement. For me i think this needs to be made a priority but thats just my apinion and hope it gets added soon. thanks colyn
