Is there a way to still print via USB while keeping the PrusaLink and Prusa Connect
Is there a way to still print via USB to the MK3 while keeping the PrusaLink and Prusa Connect on? and/or perform Firmware Updates over USB?
RE: Is there a way to still print via USB while keeping the PrusaLink and Prusa Connect
I believe on the mk3, the boot code allows firmware upgrade via USB connector.
BUT
after that, USB is either directed to the onboard RasPI connector, or to the external USB connector, and the service is mutually exclusive.
Functionality selected via LCD menu

Hi. If you have the pi connected by GPIO pins, you can select what connection the printer listens to as mentioned. The FW update works without switching anything. You however cannot USB print from octoprint and have PrusaLink report that to connect. A way to do that would be to make an octoprint Connect plugin.
