I was able to grab a second Pi Zero 2 W at 22 euros just this week at https://shop.mchobby.be/fr/77-pi-zero-12wwh. They are allowing people to only buy 1 occurence per month in order to avoid quick stock depletion.

Edit: They also have some stacking headers to increase the pin length: https://shop.mchobby.be/fr/raspberry-pi-4/485-stacking-header-2x20-pour-raspberry-pi-3232100004856.html

RE: How to Update?

You need to either setup ssh authentication with github

Or switch to using https instead of ssh. Either by removing the SDK and Link, then cloning again using https. Or by using tge git remote command to remove the "origin" remote, then add a new origin but using the https version of the repo path. Sorry I'm not specific, I'm on mobile

Just look at the steps I've posted previously. You have to generate an ssh key for your prusalink, add it to your GitHub account in your settings and the device will be able to fetch the repositories on behalf of your GitHub account.

Other solution is to use the https urls.

Other solution is to remove the remove (git remote remove origin) and add it back but with the https urls, not ssh

PrusaLink will run on any Linux computer. You can follow the Readme on its github page. It's Debian specific but with a bit of googling, you should be able to put something together. Sorry that we don't have a simple alternative ready.

Thx for help Tojik , so 1'll need get another computer and install linux 😉 1st but then if the rambo is not in wifi what is link with linux !!? i still need to get my rambo on wifi or ?

RE:

Any Linux computer, like any single board computer (raspberry, banana, or any other pi), old laptop or anything really, it needs to run linux, have internet connectivity and a usb port.

One could probably connect the einsy to a COM port if determined enough 😀

Anyway, einsy rambo cannot be connected to the internet directly.
Only if you'd argument on technicalities, there's the FlashAir card, but that does not connect the einsy to the internet, it just emulates the SD card.

Oh, we depend on a new thing, I totally forgot about that, it's in the readme tho, so at least that's up-to-date
There should be a button to re-register in the settings. First click the Delete, then Set (make sure the address is https, i just reported a bug which inverts it - so https pre-fills http and vice versa)

Set was possible after changing http://..   into https://

Yes, the http https is actually pre-filled backwards by accident. Fixed in a future update

I use rpilocator to find the resellers, then I go on their website to add me to the email notifications. The rpilocatior is not accurate sadly.

But in the case of McHobby, I got VERY lucky since I was on their website for something else, and found a Pi Zero 2 W in stock (limited to 1 per user per month). So I took a chance and it worked (still waiting for it to be shipped though). I guess I went there at the time they put it back in stock.

RE: How to Update?

I've tried updating using a fresh install of 0.7.0, and my Pi Zero 2 W will not boot up. The activity light flashes 10 times, and then goes off. Googling tells me 10 flashes means the Pi is in a "Halt" state. I've verified the pi isn't defective by reinstalling 0.6.1, Raspbian, and Octopi and all of those work.

RE: How to Update?

I know you said the updater won't be out for a while. Do you have any ideas of when that might be? I have 24 Printer farm and need to update prusalink on them all.

RE:

Yes, that sure must be frustrating. I don't know what feature will be selected for development next, but this has priority for the final release.

RE: How to Update?

Yes, this will update PrusaLink, but it won't install the newly required libraries and it won't get you the new raspi camera stack (raspi cameras were disabled at the last minute, as when testing arducams and older picameras, stuff kept breaking). Because of this, I would like it if you did a clean install. It also limits the variation between installs of the same version making debugging easier.

If you still want to do this, please get your dependencies from the readme and apt install them. Thank you

RE: How to Update?

@Tojik So FYI, working of `master` now, and the camera stuff works great so far, except that it's not recognizing my pi cam hooked to the camera port. The USB cam I hooked up seems to work great. Preview works, etc.

I'm using a PI3 connected via USB. Guessing the picam stuff maybe isn't there yet? I admittedly haven't dug into the code yet, but figured since I have the latest build running, I have multiple cameras attached via USB and camera port, there is likely something I'm missing to get the camera via port working.

Any thoughts on what would be needed for setup?

Thanks!

RE: How to Update?

That is weird. The Picamera definitely is in master. Please make sure you got both the latest SDK and PrusaLink.

Please check that you have libcamera utils like libcamera-hello on your image and that it can see the pi camera. If it does not, try either updating or clean installing a new image. They seitched to the libcamera stack pretty recently. If PL does not see the camera while libcamera utilities or vcgencmd get_camera do, please send the logs from /var/log/syslog

Thank you
