Gaps on top layer
Using 5.0.0 Alpha 4 I get these gaps on the top layer when using Polyterra PLA
I've tried adjusting the temperature up and down a bit but it seems it's something else and I don't know how to fix this
It doesn't appear if I use 4.7.2 so has to be a IS thing I guess...
RE: Gaps on top layer
Hi
please try the latest 5.0.0-RC firmware and also the latest PrusaSlicer profiles (now called Structural and Speed). Let me know if the issue persists.

RE: Gaps on top layer
Curious as to what temperature y'all are using for your "other layers" in the filament settings.
On my end, I've had to raise the temperature all the way to 240c or 250c for PLA to compensate for the vastly increased flowrate for input shaping. These images are showing telltale signs of low layer adhesion (corners are rounded, not filling in fully), and underextrusion, both of which would be fixed by a temperature bump.
RE: Gaps on top layer
Looking at this photo, my guess is you are using some custom filament profile with incorrect PA value. Try with some stock PLA profile, for example Prusament PLA.
I'm still having some serious issues on 5.0.0RC

RE: Gaps on top layer
This issue has been solved, turned out to be a faulty nozzle that under extruded so Prusa sent me a new one 😊

Using this tool will easily miss a lot of small errors in the product.
