RISPONDI: 5.0.0-RC Firmware for Original Prusa MK4
Tried without result. This is a big problem, every now and then my prints stop and ask me to change the filament. They force me to keep the sensor disabled. Where can I track the progress of this issue officially?

You bring up a point to consider. I am not having any spaghetti or layer issues but I was reminded when upgrading to the stable 5.0. That I had noticed that this usb drive supplied by Prusa is acting odd when placing it in my computer. Odd meaning slow and takes a long time when unmounting it. I have been using PrusaLink to send jobs to the printer and only see this when upgrading firmware. I would dismiss this but I recently bought a 1TB USB drive that demonstrated similar attributes and other people were reporting similar issues. I will try another USB drive later today and report back my findings.

Toshiba. 16 gb
RE:
When that happens to me, I rapidly insert and remove filament a few times. This usually makes the ball spring back into place and resistance when inserting filament returns. In my case it's purely mechanical and happens when the filament runs out or on filament unload/change. Not during print.

And what I do when the ball freezes. I hope for a permanent solution
