Missing file in Flash
Flashed mini w/ clean USB. Flash went well and Benchy was lightening fast but a bit thinner than a normal speed version. However, when turning printer on from being off it shows a red screen w/ Error 12604 that there is a Firmware file missing in the USB flash. After hitting Continue it prints fine, but other prints seem to be at normal speed even though they are sliced w/ Input Shaper format on. Tried new Alpha download and flash w/ same results.
RE: Missing file in Flash
I'm getting the same error. I updated my mini then deleted the .bbf file from the USB stick.
My mini prints fine but I intermittently get an Error! #12604 message when turning it on. The message is technically correct because the firmware file is missing on the USB (I deleted it) but my mini is already running the updated firmware.
RE: Missing file in Flash
-> Settings -> FW Update -> FW Update OFF
cheers
RE: Missing file in Flash
FW Update OFF
I don't have that or any option other than "Back". All I get is instructions to download the firmare and copy it to the USB flash drive.
To stop getting the error message I've copied the .bbf file back onto my USB drive

you are right, this option was in the older firmware 4.41. there i switched it off and after that i made the alpha update.
seems to be a bug, but hey it's an alpha version.
