Lets start: Acc and vels for the Mini (IS)
Not that the mini would be my speed horse, but it is used for fast prototyping in a sense that it`s in the office and available. I had mine outfitted with a V6 and pushed the speeds a bit. But with IS it seems it does incredible acc/vel (lol, compared to itself of course).
Now the question: what setting are there to be used in PrusaSlicer to enable that feat?
Could anyone post these settings? I will post mine later on the moment I have something of value. But I would be curious to see how others break the standard limits.
RE: Lets start: Acc and vels for the Mini (IS)
Same question here! I read that it's supposed to be a new Printer Profile in PrusaSlicer (version 2.6.1) for the MINI Input Shaper, but at least on mine, there isn't.
Looks to me that PrusaSlicer needs an update, coz the new config file is already in the GitHub repo, but the slicer is not pulling it.
RE: Lets start: Acc and vels for the Mini (IS)
On start of PrusaSlicer I got a notification about configuration updates.
After updating I was able to add the alpha printer from the configuration assistant and already used it to slice and print some models.

I think you have to flash the new firmware on the printer and you have to use Slicer 2.6.1 with the alpha profile for the Mini. This is at the moment only available for very little materials and only for 0,4 nozzle. Then in Slicer you have to go through configuration wizard and at Mini select the Mini IS Profile. After that you have all the tools to start to print with IS on the MINI.

That´s already a good hint. Just going through the setup

Ok, Prusa deserves some credit for this one. Actually, it feels like betrayal having printed so long at the original speeds. Keeping in mind that IS smoothing is NOT rocket science. Rather is constructing a printer to be capable of high frequencies and optimizing it. Nothing of the latter was done here, so it´s just a mathematical function that has been present in e.g. Klipper for quiete a while.
Neverthelesse, the Mini is amazing. You have to keep in mind that I am running a V6 with a higher volumetric flow limit and hence I don´t have a gold plated opinion on the original Mini. The first 17 h print is running right at the moment. The speeds shave off nearly 10 hours of this one. Great. And it even sounds amazing right now.
