Cannot Print with new firmware
I wanted to try out this new firmware, but every time i choose a file to print, the screen freezes and crashes. Anyone know how to fix this? I factory reset the printer as well and this did not help. This Video show exactly what I see every time and I am including an image of the error screen.

I have the same issue. How i can downgrade the FW to come back to a stable version?
RE: Cannot Print with new firmware
Can you share some example g-code you wanted to print?
RE: Cannot Print with new firmware
One of the files I tried printing is the speedbenchy and the bonkers benchy provided on the alpha release GitHub. I tried my own gcode files but everything, including the provided benchy gcodes, caused the error. I downgraded to 4.4.1 and these files will print, but without input shaping.
This is alpha firmware so issues are expected. Copy your crashdump and explain what you were doing and post it on Prusa's Github where the devs will see it and use your results to help refine the next alpha.
Cheerio,

Same issue here. Grab a prior firmware .bff file, copy it to a usb drive, MAKE SURE IT IS THE ONLY .BFF FILE ON THE USB DRIVE, power off the mini, then turn it back on. Once you see the bootloader, press the click-wheel twice and it will ask if you want to install the firmware. this is para-phrased from elsewhere in the community. Worked for me.
RE: Cannot Print with new firmware
Somehow deleting all files and directories from the USB helped me
RE: Cannot Print with new firmware
Consider downgrading to a previous firmware version by copying it to a USB drive, powering off your printer, inserting the drive, and following the on-screen prompts during boot. This should help you print without the freezing and crashing issues you've encountered with the new alpha firmware
RE: Cannot Print with new firmware
I also have the same BSOD described above whenever I try to print with the pre-release FW (v5.1.0-alpha1 ) that was released last week. Everything else in the pre-release FW worked for me including the complete self-test which was successful.
Had to do the reset and press the knob thing to downgrade back to 4.4.1. The model that I sliced with the new Input Shaper printer configuration in PrusaSlicer seems to be able to print with 4.4.1 though the print quality needs to be checked since the FW is not doing input shaping compensation.
