RE: Uneven parameter quality?

Did you have injection molds made for it? You can also use 3d-printed mold inserts for small quantities, but it's still not cheap.

No, the manufacturer made it pro-bono.

The ASA filament arrived couple of days ago and I finally have time to print the fan shroud again. I’ve taken your advice and turn the model 180°. The result is definitely an improvement. I’ve also upgraded the extruded with the BondTech one and the extrusion consistency is noticeable.

Awesome to hear, looks good. I printed this one and have it on my printer currently.

That was the second attempt. The first time the draft shield came loose from the build plate and messed up the part. I had to add brim and bumped the skirt to 2 lines. The side where the shield wasn’t connected to the brim still lift off the plate but worked well enough for the print to complete.
This totally bring back memory of printing ABS using MakerBot back in the early days!

I actually printed mine with only a 1cm tall skirt and no brim. Stuck just fine for me... Draft shields tend to collapse inward and peel up for me.
