Prusa Mini little layer gaps out of nowhere randomly on prints now
Hi, I have about about 15 Prusa Mini's all running off the same g-code files, though out of the blue one of Mini's started having some extruding issues. I am getting little later gaps along with random little blobs on the print, I can't seem to figure out what tie issue is that's causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
RE: Prusa Mini little layer gaps out of nowhere randomly on prints now
Hi there, yesterday I started to have the exact same marks on my prints! Didn't have this issue before then. Could it be something to do with the filament taking in moisture I wonder? Sorry I can't answer your question, though I'm sure one of the lads will be able to tell us what's going on!

Please check with the gcode viewer if these points are retraction or deretraction points.
RE: Prusa Mini little layer gaps out of nowhere randomly on prints now
As @lightjaeger mentioned it could be the seam (try a print with the seam position set to "rear" to confirm this), but in my case I had similar gaps that were not caused by the seam. After lots of tests the only way I could fix those was to reduce retraction from the default 3.2 to about 2.2.
Let us know what the issue was if you get rid of it!

Thank you so much @michael-fortin. I had the same issue, and reducing the retraction solved it for me too.
Here are two pictures of the same test print, all settings are the same, except the retraction length which I reduced from 3.2 to 2.2 mm for the print on the right side, as you suggested.
Cheers!
