Model home print
I am having some issues printing a model home for display to clients, I am waiting to receive a model of this home that has solid walls but in the mean time if anyone has any tips on how I can improve this.
0.10 Detail - 0.3 Nozzle ( I took the .25 nozzle profile and changed the nozzle settings to .3)
Here are the drywall anchors that are not coming out so great.
This was the cali cube I ran before this print.
The .10 profile is running 30/mms, I just ran another test cube that cuts all speed down in half to see how the print improves.
I am guessing my belt tensioning is not tuned 100%, I can't tell if I have it too loose or too tight.
RE: Model home print
Not enough of an expert to be sure, but I suspect you are under extruding due to the change of parameters. I suspect that some of the slicer is configured for a .25 nozzle, and not enough filament is being extruded when you use the .3 nozzle. As I have not changed nozzle setting before, I'm going to leave it to someone with more experience to guide you, but a search of the forum may provide some information!
RE: Model home print
My impression, considering, of course, that web photos don't tell the full story, is that those internal details are approaching or exceeding the minimum size that can be reliably printed at the height you want.
For detail pieces on the model railroad buildings that I do (I'm talking fire escapes, railings, etc.) I'll print them flat against the build plate and then glue in place or else use registration pegs and holes.

@jsw
I tried the standard .4 nozzle and .2 layer height, and down to .1 layer height then I decided to switch to a smaller nozzle. I have the original 3d model so I will try to print the interior walls flat after and see how that looks.
@gordon-w
I went through and changed Print Settings > Dependencies and Printer Settings > Extruder 1 to .3 so I'm not sure if there is anything additional to that.
