External perimeter not bonding with perimeter in one area

Hi All.

Looking for the right input to get this PETG print working. The PETG is Prusament Signal White and I am using PrusaSlicer 2.5.0.

As you can see on the pictures the external perimeter is not bonding correctly with the perimeter in one side of the print.

Other perimeter sides are fine and has no bonding issues.

I have tried many settings and also tried to rotate the print 90 degrees with the same result.

The settings I have tried to change include: nozzle temperature, perimeter print speeds, retraction length, cooling and infill/perimeters overlap, but none seem to help.

As the print looks fine in the other areas I don't think the issue is under extruding problem.

Hope someone who has been in the same situation can help with this.

/Christian

Change the slicing engine back to Classic from the new default of arachne that PS2.5 uses.

RE:

Good morning,

I have this problem too and it gives me a headache, tried so many but without success. I use several Prusa Minis and I only see this problem on two of them, the same model on all other Minis prints fine, filament is also good because they don't give any problems on an other Mini when I test.

The problem is only on the perimeter facing forward on the sides and on the back they are fine. Extrusion is also perfect, 100mm measured 100mm. I have already replaced the nozzle, PFTE tube and extruder pulleys, but this didn't do anything.

What solves the problem is setting the flow to 110%, but of course this gives all the other problems because extrusion is generally fine. Really wondering what this could be

Took me a lot of time to figure out this issue, but today I managed to fix it. It was the bowden tube, replaced it with a new one and the problem with non connecting front walls is solved.

I tried to make a video of the filament in the old tube and the new tube (last part of the video)

I've been having the same issues with my minis.  Did you purchase Bowden tubes from Prusa or are there other places to get them?

I replaced it with the original prusa one. You should be able to use a capricorn or similair when you have the right connectors. Unfortunatly I don't have them. Would like to test it, I find that the original wears off really quick. Now 3 months later I have to replace them again.

Thxs. I'm looking into something like this, I think this is more durable. But this will only fit the extruder side. I believe the hotend site has a different thread. Or am I wrong?

I think both are a thread size of M8x1.25mm.

I'm having this same issue.  When I first read this post, I assumed you were talking about the short piece of PTFE in the hot end, but now I realize you are talking about the tube going from the extruder to the hot end.  How would changing this tube fix this issue?  Any idea what's going on?
