Consistent Clogging ad Clicking
I've started having the issue below on multiple prints. It will print perfectly at first but about half way through the first layer it clogs and starts clicking with nothing coming out. I completely cleaned out the extruder and nozzle and ran several calibration tests without any issues, but as soon as I tried to print anything it clogged up after 15-20 minutes again.
This is with a 0.25mm nozzle and standard Prusament PLA. I would suspect the small nozzle of being the culprit, but I have successfully printed many times with this nozzle in the past. Anyone have any advice?
Small nozzles are always more sensitive to issues. You say you cleaned the nozzle; did you do a cold pull?
Cheerio,
RE: Consistent Clogging ad Clicking
I did do a cold pull, but I took everything apart and cleaned it all out again and did a second cold pull (went much better than the previous one). After putting everything back together I also noticed the nozzle and heater block were noticeably lower than before (Z-adjust now around -0.65 when before it had been around -1.7), so it's possible there was some heat creep.
Either way, it's printing fine right now, but I'll keep and eye on it and come back if it happens again.
Thanks!
