USB Drive Not Readable - Multiple Drives
Trying to upgrade my firmware/load prints via USB and although the system recognizes the USB it doesn't show any files in the root and doesn't detect when I boot it up to upgrade the firmware. When I plug it in while the printer is on and navigate to select a print it just shows a empty folder. I've tried multiple drives all formatted to what Prusa recommends. Any advice?
Do you have another USB stick to try?
Are there other files on the USB drive - if so, do they have any unusual characters in the filename? There are a few characters in infrequent use that the printer will not recognise and can confuse the directory read.
Cheerio,
RE: USB Drive Not Readable - Multiple Drives
Resolved! I'd previously only formatted via Windows to FAT32. After reading a reddit post I found that a user was able to correct via FAT format on a MacOS device. Had my buddy format the original USB stick that came with the printer (Had previously used for a boot up drive myself) and now we are good!
