I did this in small incremental steps just until the flaws disappeared. The problem is that this resulted in excess filament being deposited on the other side of the print and the nozzle knocked it off each time. Adjusting the setting almost seems like applying Band Aid bandage, rather than resolving the cause- could the problem be a blockage? - I can't see one.

The problem even occurs without Input Shaping.

I recently tried printing some PLA fidget stars with my Prusa Mini+. Several years ago I had no issues when printing the design. Recent efforts show what appears like under extrusion at the start of each seam (see pictures below). I contacted Prusa support and have already ruled out issues with:

-The type, age and condition of the filament

-The hotend PFTE tube (I have replaced this with no improvement)

-Extruder spring tension

-Cleanliness of the extruder mechanism (now clean)

-Cleanliness of the hotend (no blockage)

- Firmware and Prusaslicer fully updated

As suggested by Prusa, I tried tweaking the de-retraction setting. This helped at the seam, but then pushed out so much filament that prints were colliding with the nozzle. Prints were knocked off every time.

The machine has only seen hobby use. The problem continues. Do any Mini+ users have a potential solution?
