Squeaking / scratching sound on X-axis movement

Hi there,

so I was printing for two weeks without any issues and then this rather annoying sound started:

It especially noticeable with quick x-axis movements like the supports it is printing in the video.

Any quick tips before I have to disassemble anything?

edit: Don't know why the uploaded video won't show up, hope it shows after moderation.

The youtube video is private, so I can't watch it, but I'm going to take a stab anyway.

If you've had one of those "spaghetti" failures, I've found that the plastic pasta gets everywhere, including the pulleys for the x and y axis belts.  You might have some stuff wedged in one of those pulleys or maybe the drive wheels, and that might account for your noise.  If you're lucky you won't have to disassemble the printer to clean. it out.

now the video is accessible 😉

I personally do not have a MINI so I'm not sure of what could be the cause of that sound, or if it's normal.

What material are you printing with? on my MK2.5 I used to get some similar sound when printing PETG (the PETG filament rub against PETG parts make some squeking noise)

I basically only print in PLA.

But yes, I guess the sound could be the filament rubbing against parts of the printer. Not sure why it would only be noticeable on X-axis movement.

Prabably because the x axis is "connected" with the filament, while the y axis only moves the bed
