Replacing Hot End Assembly
Hello,
I had a bad print failure on my prusa Mini on a long print that I did not check for a while. My entire hot end got covered in plastic and my father unplugged my printer when he noticed it, since I was not home. The plastic hardened and I had difficulty removing the plastic and fear I may have damaged the wires leading to the hot end. I ordered the entire hotend replacement assembly that they have in the shop just to replace everything and avoid a potential fire hazard if anything was damaged. is there a step-by-step guide anywhere for installing this replacement assembly? or will I just have to piece it together using other guides replacing the individual parts?
Thanks for any assistance
RE: Replacing Hot End Assembly
I have done it, it's easy. I think this may be the closest: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-replace-a-heatsink-mini-mini_121780. Just skip the steps you don't need.
