Prusament pla and oozing

Hi all, I'm having trouble printing the pla prusament as it makes a lot of oozing. The pla has been dryied in an eibos dryer for 3 days and during printing I always keep it in the dryer... I'm using the default prusaslicer profile so temperature 215/60 retraction 3.2mm speed 70... I 3 spool of pla of different colors and purchased at different times and with all I have the same problem ... my mini+ it's all original

thanx in advance

Still looks like wet filament or too old. What does the manufacturer of the filament specify for the nozzle Temp.

Check your dryer, it looks like your filament is still wet...  it's always worst at change of season.

Plus, have you changed your nozzle recently?

the humidity with the dryer is 25%... I've never changed a nozzle, and other filaments (for example overture) are printed perfect... it's strange I have these problems only with the prusament....

25% is too high.

Did you try to increase the nozzle temp? Try increments of 5 °C. I usually print Prusament PLA at 220 °C.

Cheerio,

I don't think I can lower it further, but thinking about it, with petg I can easily get around 12% ... I don't know why ....

but if I increase the temperature, shouldn't the stringing and oozing increase?

You try to bring logic into the game ... 🙂
Just try it. 5 degrees more won't hurt anything on your printer. Perhaps it works, perhaps it does not, either way you will learn ...
I printed a part with eSun PLA+ yesterday, bed 60 °C, nozzle first layer 225 °C, other layers at 220 °C, standard brass nozzle. Went fine.

How does the print look like when you remove the silicone sock from the hotend?

I always try to be logical in what I do... maybe this is my mistake 🙂 I'll try as you suggested 🙂

Yes, but there are many factors playing into this, room climate, humidity of your filament, nozzle material, etc. The easiest way to try things out is by changing one parameter and see if it makes a difference. And nozzle temp is easy to change. There are also test prints for this, like temp tower models, that use little material and print reasonably fast.

with or without silicone sock it's the same... already tried... at the moment I have 2 woodworms on my head:
- all the filaments purchased in the last year are old: I bought 6 spools from a local reseller... I don't think so, but I don't feel like ruling out this possibility)
- all the filaments are damp despite being sealed with silca and I left them in the dryer for a few days

the strange thing is that I don't have this problem with non prusament PLA...
