Prusa mini not showing g code files.
I recently got a used Prusa mini. All seems to be working except can’t get the mini to show gcode file to print. I have a thumb drive formatted to FAT32. Mini recognizes the drive. I upload stp file to Prusa Slicer. Slice it and export it to the thumb drive. Load the drive into mini. Drive shows up but with no gcode file. Tried to slice the file with another slicer software and exported to the drive and it works or at least appears on the screen. I have spent most of the day trying to get a gcode from Prusa Slicer but no luck. Hope someone can help a newby. Tried to upgrade firmware and that file doesn’t show up on the mini either.

Your printer may have older firmware which does not support bgcode format.
Nowadays PrusaSlicer assumes that the firmware supports bgcode format and exports it in that way.
In PrusaSlicer settings go to the printer settings and in Advanced disable the option and since then PrsuaSlicer should export files as guide for that device.

Thanks. I think it does have old firmware 4.3.1. Hopefully I will able be to upgrade after I make the slicer changes. What is the latest firmware and will the mini except it?

Download 6.2.2 firmware to drive but it doesn’t show up on Mini screen. Mine 
is pretty old at 4.3.1. Any ideas how I can update this firmware?
