Print Halts to Exceed X-Axis Bounds
I came back late to find my printer's motor making a horrid noise as it kept trying to move the printhead off the far end the X-Axis arm. I immediately cancelled the print and ran the axis and first-layer calibration tests, which were completed without issue.
The piece it had been printing did not appear to have any errors (other than being incomplete) nor was there any spaghetti. It seemed as if upon reaching a particular layer the nozzle just stopped printing and tried to move to an invalid coordinate point. I would suspect an issue with the gcode except I printed this exact file less than two weeks ago without issue.
I'm concerned there might be some problem with the motor and spending two or more hours grinding against the end of the arm can't have been good for the machine, but I'm not sure what actually went wrong or how to address it.
