Print bed moved during print
I started a print yesterday and the first few hours went fine, and I left it running overnight. At some point in the night the print bed moved a few inches which caused a big mess.
The only thing I can think of that could have caused this is if the nozzle was lower than the top of the print for some reason, and rather than pushing the print off the print bed, it moved the whole print bed. Does this explanation make sense?
Does anyone have ideas for preventing this next time? Thank you!

Yes, the nozzle probably hit something. Could be curled up filament that can happen with certain features, or hitting infill, in particular if the infill pattern has intersecting lines. Has happened to me quite a few times with grid infill.

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!
This could happen either by extruding too much filament (extruder not calibrated or too much flow) or by warping. As a result, the nozzle tip collides with the printing part.

another possibility would be too low print temperature or too high printing speed, which can be particularly problematic in the infill area.

Thank you so much everyone for the advice! I cleaned off the nozzle, did a calibration and am printing at a slower speed, and so far it seems to be going well and I'm further along in the print! Fingers crossed!
