Power plug socket glitch
The power plug has always been…sensitive…where it sits in the socket of my printer. Sometimes the power has flickered off and ruined the print. I have always thought it was my fault and that I have been careless with the cable behind the machine. But closer inspection reveals that the plug doesn’t go very far into the socket of the printer. At all. When pushed in as far as it will go, there is still a good 4-5 mm of the metal shielding visible on the plug. Is this normal?I have tried to see if there are any obstructions in the socket, but to no avail. And yesterday when it glitched, it appeared that the printer reseted to factory settings. First time for this. Not the end of the world, but concerning. How are your power plugs doing?
