Power cable "connected" 180degrees inverted - short circuit?
Hello,
I think being not in my best form today I've tried to connect power cable to Mini inverted by 180 degreed = upside down and heard that short circuit kind of noise.... as probably pins have touched in a non welcomed way a bit...
Situation:
- it does not turn on
- both fuses 7.5 and 3 are fine
What would you advise as I have a certain level of electric basic skills and tools (like multimeter) but also wanting to get 100% of Prusa printing quality have ordered preassembled version as quality and no fuss was (and still is) more important than a few Euros more - just saying to establish with whom are you dealing with 🙂
What would you advise ?

That must be the fastest help on Community forum ever - just before going to rest and wait for your help I've tries to turn it on again and it worked.... I'm happy but have no clue what was the case as all I did was to remove, check and put back fuses and I'm almost certainly sure I've tried and it was not working after that but it is now...

The power supply goes into protection in case of misuse.
Several PPTC Polyfuse are used for this.
These are fuses that reset themselves after 'burning out' after a certain time.
And in that case the power supply will be able to supply voltage again.
