Mini started getting random problems after firmware upgrade

After working smoothly for as long as I've had it, suddenly my Prusa Mini has started to act up. I've printed quite a bit, but I still consider myself fairly new to this. First, I upgraded the firmware from v4.3.4 to 5.1.2 to enable input shaping. I followed the upgrade instructions on Prusa's website, and since I read that some people had trouble skipping certain upgrades, I took it step by step.

The machine worked just fine for a while, but then it started to complain that the print fan didn't start right at the beginning of some prints. I get the error message "Print fan not spinning. Check it for possible" (I can't scroll, so I can't see the rest of the error message. I've run several self-diagnostics, and the fans work fine. It's only at the start of the print that this is a problem. Layer number 4 (the fan is off for the first 3 layers in the slicer. I used Addnorth PETG filament). I was recommended by Prusa support to roll back to v.5.1.0. This did not solve the problem. It only happens occasionally.

I tried switching filament to Addnorth E-PLA to see if there might be some settings in Addnorth's PETG profile in Prusa Slicer that could be causing the problem. I haven't had this problem so far with the E-PLA, but now it has failed two prints in a row, and I'm not quite sure why. Can anyone tell me what the problem with these prints is? I've run a new first layer print, and it looks perfectly fine.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

-Thanks!

RE: Mini started getting random problems after firmware upgrade

Following for Update. Mine is showing the exact same fan error. It works some times and not others (tried a short 10m print and it worked fine - arrayed for multiples and it errored)
