RE: Mini - option wifi ?
3 months of "testing" for a ESP WiFi module. Still nothing. Greate progress Prusa.
I was looking for information about it and I didn't find any recent updates so I opened a support chat to ask about it and they said they are beta testing it already 😮
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
There might be issues that need ironing out, or there could be parts shortages. Or maybe it's vapourware - I'm certainly not holding my breath for it. If there is a working wifi option, my bet is tat we'll actually see it in a Prusa Mk4; I've always regarded the Mini as being a testbed for some of the stuff that we're likely to see in the next iteration of the i3.
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
Jo gave a quick update on the latest Prusa Live:
They are still testing it and apparently there are some bugs that they are trying to fix. So hopefully is coming soon 🙂

Based on GitHub, they are working on it. The product is operational and we will have to just enjoy what we have until it is released. I will use Octoprint until then.

RE:
I guess this one is okay?
https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B09DYGB6FY/ref=pe_28126711_487805961_TE_item
Only using the ESP-01S. Not the usb part. And its even cheaper than others.
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
They put a list of the ones they've tested and work fine: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ql2TmS8O5Bkuf9SRhfP67RRD1isdThyN96f9M2KdSg4/edit#gid=0
That said... I got mine on a local store and it works perfectly, it is the 4MB one. So that one that you sent may work just fine too.
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
It seems alot of ESP-01(S) boards from Amazon doesnt work. I bought mine from Amazon.nl > Brand ARCELI, and tried to Authed 1 time and never worked again after that. Now i bought last week 1 from Levendig Design (also in Holland), and this one worked directly.
So check the compatible list first before you buy one. Not all working.
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
Did they fix the problems with connecting via Ethernet (leave alone uploading/controlling a print via the network interface)?
Otherwise I fail to see the use of adding the wireless interface (except for tinkering for the sake of tinkering).
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
Is there a new list? Every link I find is dead. I assume this is the kind of part with a lot of counterfit and bogus sellers, so I wanted to stay on cannon.

That is still the list they have on the official documentation: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-setup-wi-fi-mini-mini_316781
I don't know what happened to it 🤔
RE: Mini - option wifi ?
The Compatibility List link is dead... Is there still a list? I want to see if the one I recieved from China is potentially OK.
