RE:
Can confirm this bug as of today.
Filament sensor is connected correctly, detects filament properly both in the sensor menu and as support for loading/unloading filament. But the auto pause on filement out is not working.
I have updated the firmware (version 6.2.4) and even did a hard (via USB) reset to ensure there weren't any hidden settings switched off as suggested above. It's just a straight-up bug.
RE: MINI+ Filament Sensor doesn't detect out-of-filament?
Sorry if what I am about to say is off-topic, but hopefully it is not. After updating MINI+ to firmware 6.2.4 my filament sensor status stays stuck at 1. I have ruled out mechanical, electrical, or cleanliness issues. It looks very much like a firmware glitch. The filament sensor status resets to 0 only I attempt to reflash the firmware with 6.2.4 (via the rotary button double-press trick), without filament loaded. This changes the filament status to 0 and will only change to 1 at the moment filament is inserted, but never returns to 0 afterward. Unless I attempt another reflash. Also, after the firmware upgrade I have a 1/2 second white flash between the bootloader 2.4.1 and firmware 6.2.4 startup screens that I did not have before. If I must roll back the firmware, what version is a good choice?
