Mesh leveling weird behaviour

Hi, is there anybody who experienced such behaviour, that the automatic mesh leveling before the print just measuring points only on the right side and the X axis clicks? Sometimes it goes two rows, but seems like it does not know where the head is located on the X axis and tries to move to the home position, then it clicks and measures in one row, etc. There was an occasion when it started the leveling from the middle and did not home properly and the last position it managed to travel outside the print area so the MINDA probe went from the steel sheet and the hotend had been pushed into the corner of the sheet. Usually when I stop the print after the failed measurement it does it's job allright, finishes the print, good print quality, nothing unusual. But this initial leveling drives me nuts, as if I forgot to wait for it to finish properly it measures false data, so the first layer would be terrible and the whole part warps, etc... I will try to record it, it's hard to describe.

Have a look at this:

For me it looks like your pulleys are loose.

Hi, actually I had disassembled the whole X pulley assembly, as after the first few prints it came loose so the whole X did not move and messed up the prints. I threadlocked and assembled again, set up the belt tension, but the mesh levelling issue appeared.  For now, I don't think that the pulley is loose (I will double check), as the prints come out nice, only the initial levelling is bad. Is it possible, that I messed up the "position" of the X axis motor, when I detached the belt? I would assume, that it would not matter and it can figure it out during auto homing.

@peter-9

In this case check the tension of the belt - I would say it is too high. As the Mini has no end-stop-switches on the axis this is done with power consumption on the axis drivers for the steppers. If the tension of the belts are too high, it can have this issue (you described).

It can be, thanks, I loosened up a bit now, will see.

Another thing when I was playing with it, trying to reproduce the error is, when I auto home, then disable the steppers, moving the X axis a bit towards the middle and then trying a mesh bed level, the leveling does not initiate an auto home, so it is starting from the modified position running out from the edge of the bed, so the range of the minda probe, pushing the hothead into the bed itself. Is it safe this way?
