Mesh Leveling fails because MINDA oof outside the plate boundary
I have been getting random mesh leveling failures, that success if I answer yes to try again. I finally saw it fail and why - not the underlying cause, but why it failed.
It seems that the mini doesn't home 100% correctly all the time. it started from a "weird" position, and on one of the spots, the PINDA was beyond the edge of the print bed, so of course it failed. When I selected "yes" to try again, it homed correctly and leveled and printed without incident.
Don't know who or how to report this to, but it appears to be a software bug of some sort. I would think that f it was mechanical, once it failed it would stay failed.

This seems to be a common but lesser known issue. The threshold for the sensorless homing is set very low, i.e. it is very sensitive to any obstruction. When is happened to me, I cleaned the rods, checked the bearings were running properly, lubed the rods. Also check the alignment of the rods, and that there is no binding at either end of the travel.
Since the sensorless homing threshold (aka bump threshold) is set in the firmware, the place to report it would be on the Buddy firmware repo.
